Hiking
The Zschonerbach begins at the confluence of the Kesselbach and Brückelbach in Steinbach, on the northern edge of the Kesselsdorf industrial estate.
It flows in an easterly direction in a wide valley, characterized by wet and wet meadows. The stream bed has a relatively flat slope to Zöllmen. The wet meadows, especially at the Zöllmen pond, are natural retention areas.
