The former southern Harzbahn railway line between Walkenried and Braunlage has been converted into a relatively easy-to-use cycle path. Due to the relatively continuous gradient, the path is easy to drive. Currently, however, the impact of redwood has left its mark.
Nevertheless, the route is worth a recommendation, especially since the route from the Kaiserweg car park towards Braunlage is now passable.

The route is free at the moment and is easy to drive, the consistently slight incline from Stöberhai station is barely noticeable.
At the beginning the path is very overgrown with grass and you only drive on a small beaten path, which is, however, well paved. The rest of the way is easy to drive.
