However, it is supposed to symbolize the tradition of the Selbold brook dance
Selbold farmers resisted taxes imposed on them in the Middle Ages and were able to chase the Gwldein drivers to flight with pitchforks. To express their joy, they dance “in the Bach”, the Gründau. This is how the popular tradition was born, after which a restaurant and club were born.
