The Kalkbrennöfen and the associated Werkhäuser are a testimony to the Eifel industrial history of the 19th century. Once here, limestone from the quarry located above was burned and ground. Today, there is a historic grain mill in the factories, originally powered by water. On the ground floor there is a tavern with outdoor catering. It is open on Sundays and public holidays (April to October: 11-18 clock, November to March 11-16 clock).
