The construction of St. Vitus Church, which is simple on the outside, was started around 1330 and completed in 1448 with the completion of the 45 m high tower. It is the only authentic Gothic church in the Günzburg district. The previous building was a church in the Romanesque style, which the visible humpback blocks in the tower and sacristy wall as well as reinforced pillars in the first nave yoke testify.
