The Kostheimer Brücke connects the Wiesbaden district of Mainz-Kostheim with the Gustavsburg district of the city of Ginsheim-Gustavsburg. Already in Roman times there was a bridge nearby, the remains of the bridge piers can be seen at low tide about 200 meters in the direction of Mainz on the Gustavsburg side. The bridge has existed in its current form since 1947, so it is of historical interest. A visit is worthwhile, as a new bridge is planned. The bridge will probably be classified as a cultural monument beforehand.
