A very impressive fountain that stands on Schillerplatz on the corner of Schillerstrasse and Ludwigsstrasse. The construction time was 3 years and the fountain was unveiled on January 14, 1967. Like many sculptures, the fountain is intended to symbolize the 5th season (the season of fools). The carnival fountain is an almost nine meter high tower-like structure made of bronze, which is decorated with more than 200 figures and allegories, also bronze.

If you pass Schillerplatz in the evening, the fountain is illuminated and it looks really nice ... Conclusion: A beautiful fountain during the day, but even more beautiful when it is dark.
