Langer Enspel and Runder Enspel Nature Reserve

Here you can still experience pure nature.
The round Enspel can only be climbed on foot, but the Long Enspel can also be reached by MTB across a meadow.

The Runder- and Langer Enspel nature reserve is located about one kilometer southeast of the village, mainly in the Madelungen corridor. It was designated as a nature reserve because of the juniper grass there.
If you drive down from Ütteroda and then left onto the meadow path, you can approach both of them. The Runde Enspel can only be climbed on foot (about 100 m), but a very worthwhile view, the Langen Enspel can be ridden by MTB if you first continue down from the Runden Enspel, then cross a small asphalt road, briefly at an information board steeply up and then on the beautiful mountain range over the Langen Enspel.
