Cochem Old Town

In the old town of Cochem are many beautiful half-timbered houses, which are almost all restored. Large parts of the city wall are still in existence and above all rises the imperial castle Cochem in the south. You should use this backdrop and pause for an espresso or a delicious Mosel wine in front of the interesting town hall.

The store's offering is very diverse - there should be something for everyone. Cafes, wine bars, pubs and restaurants dominate. Every now and then you can find a shop with a high-quality and unusual range.

But you should visit the narrow streets very early or in the evening. Then it's quieter and you can admire the beauty of the city center much better. Plus a nice dry Riesling in the evening... Perfect!
During the day it's easy to overcrowd...
The hourly carillon in the market square is also highly recommended.
