Variant "Small Moorrunde":
The "Kleine Moorrunde" of the NABU hiking guide system with approx. 7.5 km, which leads across the Butterweg, is an ideal hiking alternative. "Dee Bodderpad" (Low German) was once the shortest connection between Kirchwalsede and Rotenburg (Wümme). Many moor farmers then used this arduous way to sell their home-made butter in Rotenburg.

The Bullenseen originated as a relic of a glacial glacier in the Wümmeniederung south of Rotenburg and north of Kirchwalsede, Lower Saxony. Half of the Bullenseen are located in the municipal areas of Rotenburg and Kirchwalsede, in the district of Rotenburg.

Great Bull Lake
The natural Moorsee offers fun for the whole family. In summer, the lake invites for swimming and swimming. A non-swimmer area is defined by rope and buoys. The DLRG monitors your safety during the bathing season. A children's playground is available at the lake. Admission is free!

Very beautiful lake with many opportunities for swimming and playing for children, the nature reserve is directly adjacent where you can go hiking, the trails are not well suited for cycling because they are thickly covered with wood chips

The old kiosk on Bullensee was partially demolished, currently. is open what happens there. The opening times of the wooden house "Lottchen" are unfortunately not known. Unfortunately, it was closed on several visits, including during the opening times.
