A beautiful, wild section, with a number of steep inclines, many Emmental "Höger" and "Grave", several beautiful farmhouses along the way - and practically always far from roads and traffic.

The Herzroute leads through almost all of Switzerland. Some sections are simply sensational - e.g. this one. Again and again viewpoints, very few settlements, mostly you drive completely or almost on mountain ridges - fantastic. In about three or four places there are self-service farm shops or even serviced places where you can get food.
