The Linden van Sambeek is a very old, extensive Dutch lime (Tilia ×europaea) that stands along the main road in the south of the North Brabant village of Sambeek. The tree has an estimated age of between 350 and 500 years and has a trunk circumference of 7.97 meters (in 2004). This makes it both the thickest and the oldest lime tree in the Netherlands.[wikipedia..)
