If you have the time and feel like taking a detour, you will find over 100 animal species in the Black Mountains Wildlife Park, including an open-air enclosure and cuddly zoo. The zoo is open all year round from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and has its own restaurant. From the 45-meter-high observation tower you can not only see the entire area of the wildlife park, but in good visibility you can also see the Alte Land, the Elbe and the Blankeneser Elbe slope.
