Freiburg, originally an island landscape on the Lower Elbe, is located in the Kehdinger Land. Very nice old town area. Many special individual houses. It's worth taking a walk through all the alleys and paths, including the backyards. Take time. The restored warehouse with an outbuilding for cyclists is very nice: sanitary building (always clean!), storage space for bikes and lockable compartments for luggage. A walk along the old harbor is interesting. If you like a longer walk, go over the dike towards the Elbe. Bring a camping chair! You sit in the front row on the Elbe when it floods! The attractions just float by. A smartphone app is helpful. Bring binoculars for bird watching. You can always find a café in town
