Kirchberg Castle
Former residential palace of the Princes of Hohenlohe-Kirchberg: around 1240, the castle of the Knights of Kirchberg. It was expanded under the Counts and Princes of Hohenlohe-Kirchberg. It was built in 1590 as a Renaissance palace, and expanded in 1735 with baroque features. The castle inventory was cleared after the castle was sold to the Inner Mission in 1945 and onwards. It is now housed in Neuenstein Castle.
"Tango im Schloss" is part of the non-profit association "Tango Hohenlohe-Franken e.V." for the promotion of Tango Argentino in the Hohenlohe-Franken region, based in Kirchberg.
