Not far from a hiking car park is this great wooden bridge over the Jagst. On the other side of the bridge there is a bench with a beautiful view.

Very nice building above the Jagst. Located directly on the idyllic hiking trail in the Jagst Valley.

Covered, clad wooden bridge over the Jagst. Built around 1800 as part of the formerly important connecting route from Kirchberg towards Mistlau. The footbridge is a wooden covered pedestrian bridge. These bridges, also known as "arks", were built on the basis of medieval models. The district master builder Carl Stock was responsible for its spread in the region. The Ockenauer Steg is one of the earlier examples of this type of building, which is also important in terms of technical history. The Ockenauer Steg was renovated in 1978.
