Borner villagescape with many thatched thatched houses and the ornate Darßer doors. The oldest houses of the municipality can be found in the western part, for example in the Nordstraße. List of monuments: de.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Baudenkmal_in_Born_a._Darß

Wonderful harbor with snacks and departures of the passenger ships towards Prerow and Wustrow. The Bülten, small schilffbewachsene islands in the Bodden, can be seen from the harbor.

The passenger ships departing here also take cyclists with their bikes.
The big round of the Bodden can be shortened if necessary. In the summer months Mitsgeltouren be offered here on Zeesenbooten.

Born - the small, idyllic village on the south coast of Darß - located between Saaler and Bodstedter Bodden on the Koppelstrom - is very suitable for hiking and cycling tours. We spent two wonderful weeks here in 2008.
The harmony between tradition and modern times makes the former fishing and farming village so popular with visitors and invites you to stroll through the streets to discover the thatched houses and their striking, differently decorated doors and gables. Even the church was traditionally built with a thatched roof.
The small sheltered harbor is a destination for many sailors, anglers, sun and bathing enthusiasts. Those who like it rustic should use this "entrance gate" to the Western Pomerania Lagoon Area National Park for long walks and bike rides. Here you can discover the Darßer primeval forest with its moors and unusual winds and the small, untouched, but wildly romantic spot of Darßer Weststrand. The numerous crossing paths allow you to experience the largest nature park in the new federal states in all its splendor ...
In terms of culture, the forest and hunting museum, the concerts in the fisherman's church or the events in the summer theater round off the holiday ...
