About 730 meters northwest of the summit of the Signalberg stands this 134-meter-high Deutsche Telekom transmission tower, from where the programs of NDR Info, N-Joy, Deutschlandfunk and Deutschlandradio Kultur are broadcast.
On the summit of the Signalberg we also find the somewhat slimmer, red-and-white transmission tower of the Bundeswehr.
