Road cycling

It's not a legit Strade Bianche, it's barely gravel... but this hardpack sandy road is still fun to ride for those seeking offroad experience on their bikes and yes, I'd say it's ridable for road racers, if you don't mind an occasional soft sandy tire skit. The scenery is 10 out of 10.

The Boterweg is a wide sand road that - for a big part - runs alongside the border of Germany and The Netherlands. This particular part is nice hard packed bit of sand road which is part of the MTB route Montferland. The first bit can be a little rough with a lot of little paths next to each other, the last part is nice smooth rolling gravel.
