Almost 800 Jewish concentration camp inmates and 3,000 foreign workers were forced to work here in a large explosives and ammunition factory, and many died. In 2004, today's memorial stone was erected, which is maintained by schoolchildren from Bad Wilsnack. The site is still used for military purposes to this day.
