Hiking
The leisure park is located on the eastern edge of the city, south of Aldinger Straße. The area, formerly designed as a German-American Friendship Park and previously owned by the federal government, was acquired by the city of Kornwestheim and further developed as part of the so-called East Open Space Planning project. In addition to its recreational, leisure, and experiential functions, the leisure park fulfills important landscape-ecological habitat and connectivity functions.
