The landmark of Sternenfels is the Schlossbergturm, which houses a water reservoir and a small exhibition "GuG" on the history and geology of the sand farming village and the Lords of Sternenfels. Around the climbable tower with its grandiose view, a play area with beer garden invites hikers and day trippers to linger.
The large play equipment, which was allowed to replace the "Burgwart" in 2019, was selected with the participation of the Sternenfels and Diefenbach children and invites you to climb and play. If you want to enjoy the great view from the Schloßberg, the beer garden by the tower is the right place for you. In addition to beers from a traditional brewery and wines from the winegrowers' cooperative, grilled sausages, wild potatoes and small snacks attract many visitors and excursion groups under the shady trees every year.
