After a flood in June 2016 destroyed the bridge at that time, it was not possible for about 4 years to make the short but very beautiful tour through the NSG Langfigtal...
The bridge was delivered by helicopter and cost around 430,000 euros.
There has not yet been an official inauguration. This should be made up for when the currently difficult times have normalized a little more...
Update: The bridge was completely destroyed during the July 2021 flood...

The old bridge was torn away in a severe storm in 2016.
The Ahr valley path through the Langfig valley is no longer closed.
July 2021: Due to the severe flooding, the Langfigtal is closed again.
