The Roman Catholic parish church of St. Joseph is the village church of Waldberg, a district of Sandberg. The church was built between 1768 and 1770. The church tower with its onion dome was added in 1929 to replace the original turret. The furnishings date from the 18th century. The high altar (allegedly from a secularized monastery in Gaibach), with its central painting of St. Joseph, and the side altars depicting Jesus and Mary, are designed in the Rococo style. The three bells in the church tower were consecrated in 1932. (Wikipedia)
