Gemündener Hut

The so-called "quaint mountain hut on Kreuzberg" is in a sunny location on the edge of the forest, a ten-minute walk below the Kreuzberg summit and in the middle of the Rhön Nature Park. Here you have the opportunity to relax in nature and to enjoy the Rhön landscape in all its glory.

In summer, a visit to the hut can be combined with a hike or a bike tour. There are refreshing drinks, hearty food from the hut kitchen as well as snacks and cakes.

In winter you can warm up and strengthen yourself while skiing in the hut.

The inn can get very crowded at peak times. The self-service principle applies here. When ordering hot meals, you get a beeper that notifies you when the food is ready to be picked up.

This is an absolutely beautiful hut. Here you also get the Kreuzberg beer. The hut is unique.
