The old customs office is a listed property of the former Grand Ducal Main Tax Office. The building was completed in 1906. The main tax office and a vault were on the ground floor. The other floors were used as apartments for the staff. After extensive renovation, there is now a restaurant in the center of the Rhine bank and the Hindenburg complex.
