Well before the castle is a statue: The greeting or The guard, Marion Ebbink, 2001, Hernen. The castle itself seems to have never been so attractive for habitation and is therefore little changed and fairly authentic. The content was posted afterwards. The black and white photo is with a couple of children during a visit in ca 1975
