The Strausbergalpe is located at an altitude of 1227 m, above the Strausbergmoos, surrounded by the Imberger Horn, Strausbergsattel, Gernkopf and Sonthofner Hörnle. The alp was first mentioned in history in 1663 and was then known as "Roßberg". In 1900, ownership passed to Prince Regent Luitpold of Bavaria. On the beautiful terrace with a view of the surrounding mountains, you can fortify yourself with organic milk, organic milk products and drinks, as well as hearty regional snacks and daily fresh cakes from the wood-fired oven.
