Lake Mandichosee is a diverse local recreation area with bathing beaches, sunbathing lawns, a playground, a beach volleyball court, a kiosk with restroom facilities, and a lifeguard station. A surf school, sailing club, stand-up paddleboarding courses and rentals, along with hiking and cycling opportunities, offer a wide variety of active activities. The lake is also used for hydroelectric power generation.
