The Bergwitzsee is a bathing lake with excellent water quality. It's worth hopping in here on your bike tour. There is a bathing beach and a separate nudist beach, as well as a campsite with a water sports facility.

The Bergwitzsee is an opencast mining hole where mining was discontinued in 1955. He is a belites excursion destination, the water is of great quality, It lead the Radfernweg Berlin Leipzig, as well as the R1 Fernradweg directly past the lake.
