Orchard Meadow Trail Mülheim-Kärlich

Beautiful hike, especially during fruit blossom season, but also all year round.

Beautiful, family-friendly circular walk. The fruit garden and the Elmar Hillesheim meadow are ideal places for a break. There is also interesting information about the different fruit trees. The hiking trail is a special experience during the flowering season:
The peach trees, plums and wild bushes bloom first, at the end of March/beginning of April. Then the cherry trees show their splendor of blossom - usually in mid-April. Then it is the turn of the apple trees with their pink and white blossoms, before the elderberry blossoms herald the end of the flowering season at the end of May/beginning of June. The exact time and duration of the flowering season naturally depends on the weather - the warmer the weather, the quicker the blossoms are over.
