The "Alte Wassermühle" is in Recklinghausen Suderwich and is now a restaurant.A historical plant for the use of water power is in the Suderwich district - an old water mill. The grain mill, built centuries ago to supply the surrounding population with flour, is located on the Suderwicher Bach. Its water is dammed right next door to form a mill pond in order to drive the water wheel, which is still preserved on site, with its falling energy overshot. The "Alte Wassermühle", which was shut down in 1959, is now used as a cozy inn with a beer garden. The rest area, which is popular with cyclists, also invites you to take a short break during the climate cycle tour. It is a really cozy pub by the duck ponds with a cozy beer garden. There are even regular performances by live bands.
