The Keudelskuppe is a 484 m high mountain in the Südeichsfeld in northwest Thuringia (Germany) and is one of the foothills of the Plesse mountain range.
Immediately on the hilltop there was also an observation post (with a bunker system) of the Soviet armed forces, from here troop movements and other incidents in the Werra valley were supposed to be observed. You can still clearly see the remains of the former bunker.
