Hiking

The sofa was actually the forest on the Westerwald side. Here the old water pipe also led to the city of Weilburg, whose old pipe and pool system can be found at Steinbühl. Today it means the viewpoint with the crane tower, from where you have a beautiful view of the Lahnschleife and the city of Weilburg.

Hiking

The crane tower was destroyed to a height of approx. 3.50 m in March 1990 when a tree fell on the tower by the storm. However, the crane tower could be restored and the reconstruction was completed on June 25th, 1999.
