The bridge is a relic from the time when Adolf Willikens GmbH & Co. KG's first gravel works were located there. Today you can only see the brick tower of the substation.

The bridge over the Oker is in the middle of all the gravel ponds. When we were there, the hedgerow at the other end of the bridge was being cut at the other end. It didn't look locked but due to work going on there we couldn't go over there so I can't rule that out for sure
