Since 1750, the Peter family has been cultivating the blue Wildbacher grape on their winery in West Styria, which is vinified into the so-called "Schilcher" in various variations. In addition to the wine specialties, the restaurant also offers delicious fish delicacies, freshly caught from the in-house "Märchensee" (Fairy Tale Lake), which lies idyllically in the middle of the winery.

Hiking
Wonderful ambiance, warm welcome, the cozy Buschenschank with a tiled stove for cold days can accommodate about 40 people, and the covered terrace can accommodate twice as many. We let Schilcher and cold fish specialties from our own Märchensee melt on our tongues and then indulged in homemade desserts. But the beautifully arranged snack platters are also impressive. A beautiful place to stop for refreshments on your hike!
