From Meiringen to Grosse Scheidegg

This route is the "easiest" way to get from Meiringen to the Grossen Schiedegg. The climb is partly really steep and more than 17 kilometers long, so plan your strength well. Although you drive over asphalt here and one or the other racing cyclist will surely overtake you, it is also quite attractive here with the MTB. The Reichenbach Valley is a scenic dream, and the road from Schwarzwaldalp is closed to motorized traffic.

If the 1,250 vertical meters are too much of a good thing for you, there is an energy-saving alternative: The Postbus runs between Meiringen and Grindelwald - with a stop at the Grosse Scheidegg and including bicycle transport. Probably one of the most beautiful routes in the Bernese Oberland! You have to be driven.
