Probably one of the most unique cycling segments you can find. Col de Maeslantkering is a short but steep climb in an area with little to no elevation changes except for bridges! My favorite part is that it loops back around for the downhill, which is even steeper, and a bit technical in the beginning. The view of the incredible Maeslantkering is of course also worth the ride up!

Close to Hoek van Holland is the Maeslantkering, a structure that is part of the Delta Works. On the banks of the Nieuwe Waterweg there is a 250 meter long climb to a beautiful viewpoint.
