The vantage point "Kanzel" (399 meters) with the Friedrich-Meyer-Hütte (shelter) is always worth a detour. From here you have a great view of the Edersee, especially the Hammerbergspitze (when the water is low, the whole headland comes to light) and Waldeck Castle. The four tree-trunk chairs are very inviting for a rest, from where you have the best view while you're having a meal.

On the Great Pulpit is a shelter and four "landscape thrones" that belong to the Habichtswaldsteig, which also runs here. Here you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Edersee and Waldeck Castle during a break...

A great vantage point. It's a bit out of the way from the usual tourist destinations. From here you can take very nice photos at any time of the year.

From here you have a great view of the Edersee and the Waldeck Castle. The climb is worth it. The Urwaldsteig runs right here along the pulpit, on which you can circle the entire Edersee in several stages. A very nice but also very demanding multi-day hike.

Anyone who has made the ascent from Waldeck here deserves a break, 1 shelter and 4 seats are available and the view of the Edersee is fantastic

Here is a refuge in the emergency even longer breaks can be made. The view from here on lake and castle Waldeck are worth seeing.
