If you want to swim here, you must bring your own water. Since the former BVB swimming pool last served as a public swimming pool in the 1980s, it has been left to itself. At its opening in 1928 it was with the BVG Stadium a place for the athletic training of street workers. In 1932 and 1936 it served as a training ground for the Summer Olympics.
