The colored chimney designed by Daniel Buren is a real eye-catcher.
From Chemnitztalradweg you can see it well.
Especially in the evening sun the building illuminates in all its glory.

The colors of the outer shell of the 302m high chimney were arranged according to the alphabet when it was renovated by the French artist Daniel Buren. The first letters of the respective color indicate the order. Starting from the ground with aquamarine, the colors continue as follows: strawberry red, yellow green, sky blue, melon yellow, signal violet and finally traffic yellow.
A total of 168 LED lights illuminate what is probably the world's highest work of art in the evening and night hours.
