Unfortunately no longer recommended in spring 2021 (definitely not suitable for racing bikes!). The road for the ascent from Zwickgabel has been "repaired" with coarse gravel 🥺

Michael can only agree, currently (as of 04.2021) at least 1.5-2km cannot be ridden with a racing bike. It's a shame as the rest is easy to drive.

Great descent - down to Tonbach. The best way to go up is from Zwickgabel. But be careful when driving down quickly: Due to the unfortunately many dead trees, there are a lot of pine needles on the road and this can be dangerous in the curves.
