The church in Ehningen-Mauren is first mentioned in a document in 1320.
Due to a papal indulgence, a lively pilgrimage developed from 1360, later with a market. The church was consecrated to the "dear lady". Pelagius (Bolai) should be mentioned as a minor saint. The current building has been standing since 1470. After the Reformation, the church is "Evangelical parish church", but in 1824 it was profaned except for the choir.
Today in summer there are monthly services in the church choir.
The ship is used for agricultural purposes. Occasionally there are cultural events.
