From the arrangement of the houses (Grätzl = group of houses in the middle) to the many little things that can be discovered, a total work of art! Marien- and Roland column, Adlerbrunnen, winter row (facades) next to the "Gemalten Haus", nostalgia world ...
I always like the historic Eggenburg with its city walls all around. You can also find refreshments here.

The building complex in the middle of the main square is called "Grätzl" and was built in the 15th century and represented a kind of urban expansion inward. People could only feel safe within the city walls and otherwise there was no more free building land.

Eggenburg is always worth a detour. Take the time and look around. History was written here - and this is also shown by the many facades of the medieval town of Eggenburg
