The well-preserved forester and memorial stone is hidden at the edge of the path in a green strip on the Peiner Weg between fields and the Burgdorfer Holz. The stone is decorated with an inscription on both sides and commemorates C.F. Hintze, Royal Forester and Kerstenbrok Forest Administrator. The stone was donated by the manor owner Kerßenbrock, whose descendants now have their country estate at Schloss Barntrupe in Lippe.
There are a lot of other small boulders around the Försterstein. Altogether unfortunately very neglected.
