It doesn't matter whether you climb the stairs or the slowly rising path around it, from the Schurenbachhalde you have a very awesome view over a large part of the Ruhr area! Essen, Bottrop, Bochum, Duisburg, Gelsenkirchen, Oberhausen... And even if you know it yourself, it's always impressive how little city you see and how much green! Always good!
