Beautiful view over the Lahn Valley with Arnstein Monastery, Langenau Castle and Nassau.

It is definitely worth climbing the stairs to the "Hohe Lay" view. There you have a nice view and a bench.

The Hohe Lay (also Hohelei in some maps) is a rock above the Lahn valley near Nassau. Access is either via the Lahnhöhenweg on the right from Nassau, which you follow upstream to the viewpoint at the river loop, where you take the narrow path up the slope. By car you drive on the road between Nassau and Winden. At the parking lot, follow the path, turn left and then go to the top with the wooden cross. Here a narrow path leads into the forest.
The rock is mostly in the forest and offers climbing routes between 4 and 6 and is made of quartzite. The established routes are on the south and east sides, and on the north side there are stairs leading to the viewing platform. There are bolt plates in the routes that have been set up, and Bühler bolts for abseiling are also installed on the rock heads. From Felskopf you have a beautiful view of the Lahn Valley, as well as the Arnstein Monastery, Langenau Castle and Nassau Castle.
