Der gelaufene Anstieg zur Koppelhütte von Balduinstein ist nicht zu empfehlen, der von Komoot vorgeschlage Weg ist völlig zugewachsen und kaum passierbar. Der Rückweg von der Koppelhütte nach Balduinstein ist besser zu begehen und führt ein Stück entlang der schönen Lahn.
