The believers of the Reformed Church from Új-Szőny initially belonged to the Reformed parish in Szőny and after 1896 to the Reformed parish in North Komárom, which is why it was particularly difficult for them to practice their faith after 1919. Their own church was consecrated on November 4, 1928. The neo-Romanesque style church was built according to the plans of the building inspector Kálmán Dudás. The sheet metal work was carried out by the craftsman János Sircz. The vicarage by the church is one of the oldest buildings in Komárom. It reached its present form during the reconstruction and renovation in 1927. Originally, from the beginning of the 19th century, it served as one of the important post stations on the route between Vienna and Budapest.
