Piazza dei Signori, Treviso

Piazza dei Signori is the center of Treviso, in the sense that it is located in the middle of the city but it is also a meeting place for the Trevigiani doc. According to some, the square takes its name from the Palazzo della Signoria, the current palace of the Prefecture, while others argue that it refers to the wealthy classes that once lived in the surrounding buildings.
